Chris Raspante

Chris Raspante

Artist / Session

I've always been interested in the idea of using an overdrive pedal with a real tube in it. But sadly, they never sounded like I hoped they would…UNTIL NOW!! This pedal does what we all want a pedal to do which is to NOT sound like a pedal! It gives you the sound of tubes doing what we love them to do and it doesn't favor certain guitars or amps like other pedals I've used. The second drive channel is as handy as a pocket on a shirt with always just the right amount of gain and volume to boost your solo where it needs to be. I LOVE IT!!

Chris Raspante

The state of Texas has produced many great guitar players and Chris Raspante is no exception that rule. Haling from Dallas, Chris is a guitarist whose style is reminiscent of the many great players from that region however, he blends a variety of contemporary as well as classic influences to create a sound uniquely his own. And unlike many of his contemporaries, his vocal and songwriting abilities are equally as strong as his guitar playing.

Performing for well over a decade in venues all over the states and abroad, he then relocated to Nashville in 2000 to pursue a change of scene and to take advantage of the thriving Nashville music scene. These new pursuits led to him being hired to play both live and in the studio for many other artists; having his guitar playing featured in the theme song for the HBO series “True Blood”; performing on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”, and even to become one of the first American musicians to play for Chinese government officials at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, China. In addition he has also proven to be an accomplished engineer / producer, making records for other various artists.

Chris has released an album of all original, blues based songs that are a fitting showcase for both his skill as a guitarist and vocalist. Additionally, the project shows off his other musical talents. He not only recorded the album himself, he also played EVERY instrument heard on the record. As always, he looks forward to playing live in front of audiences all over the country and beyond.
